What is a prayer house
A prayer house is not a place, it is where we as God’s representative enforce God’s claim over His people. A prayer house is where we stand guard over God’s claim, protecting it against any potential claim jumpers who try to claim what God already paid for on the cross through His Son’s glorious victory. In so doing we prevent the enemy from a potential victory by our default.
Psalm 91:1 says “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
W.A. Tozer described the secret place as follows “The secret place of the Most High is the heart of God, the place of faith in God, love for God, confidence in the love of God in Christ, obedient trust in the mercy of God. It is a state of heart, in a state of heart. It is our state of heart in the heart of God. That is the secret place of the Most High. And we may enter it and we may abide in it. And we may be in it or out of it. But the secret place of the Most High is there for us. Now, it is a secret place. And it is secret, not because it is hard to find, nor because it is hidden or difficult. It is a secret place because there are so few who enter it. It is an open secret, and is secret only because there are so few Christians that ever find or enter into the secret place of the Most High”
The Lord said “My Father’s house is a House of prayer for all nations”. This house is not a physical house it is a SPIRITUAL HOUSE, a secret place for all who are willing to enter into it. Jesus describes the house as a house that is founded on the rock, the knowledge of Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living God. Jesus said to Peter that He will build His assembly in this knowledge in faith and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18 “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”.
We tend to look at things through the natural eyes of our understanding, but Paul says in Romans 12: 2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
THE HEART OF GOD IS TO LEAVE THE 99 SHEEP AND GO AFTER THE ONE THAT IS LOST. WE START BY COVERING THE LOST IN PRAYER SO THAT THE ENEMY CANNOT LAY CLAIM ON THAT WHICH GOD ALREADY CLAIMED THROUGH THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST.
We call on all to establish prayer houses, but not physical place, for God said we will worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Meaning that a prayer house is any place where we come in agreement with God’s heart and draw the boundaries so that the enemy cannot claim what God already paid for. He paid the price for every human being to be saved, to be redeemed, to be a child in His household. If we do not show up to enforce God’s victory the enemy will try to jump the fence and steal the sheep or claim what is not his.

If you as a Watchman stand up and claim your area for the Kingdom of God to manifest, then you must be watchful to stop every claim jumper so that God’s plan can manifest in the hearts of people. That is when revival manifest when God’s presence touch down on earth…people are convinced of their sin without human intervention…
Testimony
In Bongu Mozambique we started with evangelism through the giving of blankets, the Jesus film and tracts but the focus point the Lord gave us was to establish a prayer house where people don’t pray for themselves but for the community, for people’s hearts to turn to God and be open for the truth of God’s Word. We saw how God revealed Himself to people through dreams, and told them to come to the prayer house to be saved. Although this was a physical place any house can be a house of prayer.
