We are called to potray His beauty.
We received this post and was given permission to post it on our website. I believe we all can learn from the beauty surrounding us in the world God created for His glory.
The Mother of Pearl Butterfly.
On the 9th of February 2025, in my bathroom window, our Creator God and merciful Father spoke to my heart through His creation, revealing Ephesians 3:8-12 “To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.“
This is a photograph of the same butterfly, taken moments apart. The only difference between them is that the light shone through the butterfly on the left and the one on the right just changed position ever so slightly and the light did not shine through it. Without the light of God shining through us we are grey and insignificant, but the glorious Light of God changes us into something beautiful. Oh fill me with Your Light Oh God! The name of the butterfly is: “Mother of Pearl”.

And in my search around pearls I found this web-page , that I encourage you to read. https://mtw.org/stories/details/0903-pearls-and-the-people-of-god The writer Roger Lowter from a church in Japan wrote this very interesting take on the well-known passage (Matt. 13:45–46). “Dare we imagine that we could be the pearl of great price? Is it possible that Christ gave up everything he had to purchase us?”
