Meaning of our Logo

The circle is divide in three parts in reference to the Hebrew word  Tikvah (תִּקְוָה) that speaks of certain hope and derives from the Hebrew verb qavah (קָוָה), which means, “to gather together, or bind together.” For us, faith is a binding process, were we bind our hope, with what we expect based on what God promised.

The Aleph-Tav represents the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet, symbolizing the completeness of God’s work through His Son Jesus Christ, the “beginning and the end”. In ancient Hebrew pictographs, Aleph represents an ox (strength) and Tav represents crossed sticks (a sign, covenant, or mark). Together, they can signify “the strong covenant”. Jesus is the strong covenant through which all things came into existence and in His blood He gave us the assurance of a position before the throne of God and made us members of the Household of God.

Tzur Yeshua” is a Hebrew phrase meaning “Rock of [our] Salvation”  or “Rock of Rescue,”. It is another reference to Jesus as the unwavering bedrock of our faith. Tzur means a rock representing God’s steadfastness, strength, and faithfulness. Jesus said if we want to build a house that will stand against the storms we must dig through the sand until we find the rock, until we find Jesus to be all that He promised. Yeshua means salvation, rescue, help, or liberation. Meaning that once we found Jesus to be our salvation and rescue, then and only then can we lay the foundation of God’s Word as the foundation of our house.

The Bible as God’s Word is the foundation whereupon we build after we found Jesus as the Rock of our Salvation. For the bible in Hebrew is the Sefer HaBritot, that means the book of the covenants. We can only build on the Word as God’s promise once we can acknowledge Jesus as our Rock of Salvation, for in Jesus name every promise in the Bible became a yes and amen.

Two people praying is the building being constructed, God’s house is a house of prayer and is constructed with living stones.

The cross in the middle is based on what Jesus said, were two or more people gather in His name, He will be in there Mids. Once the cross takes it position as centre stage, then we as members of one body start looking at each other through the cross of Jesus, as we acknowledge what He did for us.

The roof is formed through our united prayers. Reminding us that we dwell in the secret place of the most high, and to dwell there, is to abide in fellowship with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit. For as we pray in Jesus name to the Father, the Father answer us through the Holy Spirit.

The Hebrew letter is El Nissi, meaning the Lord is my banner of victory, a biblical name for God signifying God as the banner under who’s direction we are promised a victory, we find our protection and we are rallied together in faith in Him and His Son Jesus Christ.
