“Attempt great things for God, expectgreat things from God!!!!”

If we do not attempt we cannot expect anything. But in order to attempt we must first acknowledge and recognize God’s call in obedience.

Mar 4:24 

And He said to them, Be careful what you hear. With what measure you measure, it will be measured to you; and more will be given to you, the ones hearing.

(Mat 14:28  And Peter answered Him and said, LORD, if it is You, tell me to come to You on the water.  And He said, Come. And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But seeing that the wind was strong, he was afraid. And beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me!)

And Peter answered Him and said, Who knew His voice, and was ready to believe it might be Christ; and having more courage, and being more forward than the rest of the disciples, ventured to speak to him; saying, Lord, if it be thou; for he was not fully assured that it was he: he might consider that nocturnal apparitions are deceitful, and that Satan can transform himself into an angel of light, and could put on the appearance, and mimic the voice of Christ; wherefore, to try whether it was a spectre, or really Christ, he says, bid me come unto thee on the water; thereby expressing great love and affection to Christ, being willing to come to him, though through danger, through storms and tempests; and also his strong faith in Him,  he knew who was as able to support his body on the water, as his own; and yet much modesty, submission, and dependence; not willing to take a step without His order.

We need to acknowledge His call by knowing His voice, for this you need more courage and you need to be more forward to react on the call.

The Lord CALLED into our heart came through His Word in Isaiah 62:10

Pass! Pass through the gates; prepare the way of the people. Raise up! Raise up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a banner for the peoples.

Like Peter we must recognise Jesus through His call and the get out and walk on the Word (the promise of His Word) of His calling.

Therefore we need to be able to recognise the TRUTH – They Word is the truth. As Peter recognised Jesus when He called we must also recognise the truth.

From the beginning God created you/us with a purpose, a blue print plan – to be in His image, and He showed us the blue print through His only Son Jesus Christ and called us to become in the likeness of Jesus Christ. To be called His sons and daughters. For this God also showed us how the construction must be done, how the building should be constructed in the fulfilment of His plan.

God plan is to establish His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven but for that he chooses to use us to establish His  kingdom, for that we need to be transformed in the likeness of God’s Kingdom. Jesus said He came to show us the Father and He said He is the way, truth and the life and that no one will enter the Kingdom of God except through the Son. We must therefore be Kingdom orientated not self-orientated and allow God to do His transforming work within us through His Son and His Spirit.

1Sa 3:7-9 “Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.   And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place”.

We must wait upon the Lord and await His call, and when you hear Him calling, become the servant willing to listen.

Get out of the boat in OBEDIENCE to the call that you/we receive and walk on the power of His Word. But be careful to keep eyes on Jesus Christ and not the people. Walk on the Word of God, as Jesus said that if you listen and do His will, it is liken unto a wise man who build his house on a rock. Warn people not to walk on the words of people that sound good but it is like, for it is like a brick, some bricks look right but the way how they were made was not proper and as you put pressure on it, it breaks!

Since we know that God will bring His Word’s in fulfilment as it is written in Isaiah 55:11 therefore we are prepared to attempt great things for God, expecting great things from God.

Phil 4:6/Ezekiel 37

“The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,  And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.  And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.  Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.  Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:  And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone……

The gift of faith is never unanswered for it is based upon to call into existence God’s promise of His Word.

The Lord does not want us to worrying about the future; He wants us to create it through the knowledge of His will and the proclamation of His Word as we sow the incorruptible seed of God’s promises through the power of prayer.
