Vision for a house of prayer

The vision that God showed us is that a house of prayer is like a pebble thrown into a huge dam of water. The pebble small as it my be, have no immediate visual impact on the water, but starts a ripple in the water. The ripple, even though it may be small, continue moving outwardly until it reach the edge of the dam.

What started as a small pebble thrown into the water resulted in a ripple that effected the whole dam.

God called us to start a ripple through a pebble (house of prayer).

But if we as the Body of Christ can throw in enough pebbles (every house a house of prayer), the ripple’s will change the consistency within the dam.

Change starts with the individual, who trust that God can do what He promised to do.

Drop a pebble in the water: just a splash, and it is gone; But there’s half-a-hundred ripples: Circling on and on and on, Spreading, spreading from the center, flowing on out to the sea. And there is no way of telling where the end is going to be. Drop a pebble in the water, in a minute you forget, but there’s little waves a-flowing and there’s ripples circling yet, And those little waves a-flowing to a great big wave have grown; You’ve disturbed a mighty river just by dropping in a stone.
